There is a Senior Citizens Club operatig under Rotary Bangalore Cantonment, which is working for the well-being of the elderly population. This Club meets at the RHL regularly, conducts cultural and educational programmes. Rotary Bangalore Cantonment also assists other Senior Citizens Clubs and also helps some of their activities like sponsoring the World Elders Day programmes. 

The Senior Citizens’ Club Bangalore Cantonment (SCC) was started on 12 th December 1984 under the auspices of the Rotary Club of Bangalore Cantonment. The Club has its own Constitution, adopted by the General Body, for the first time is 1990. The Club meets on the Second and Fourth Wednesdays of every month. Has 126 Active member with a healthy attedance of over 72%. Senitezen Newsletter published 6 times  yearly

The primary objectives of the Senior Citizen's Club is: 

  • To provide opportunities for for physical and mental relaxation,self expression ,to make available resources and experience available to help themselves, their peers and the community at large, thereby promoting a feeling of being useful and wanted.
  • To engage in charitable activities particularly related to the elderly.
