Golfity - Golf for Charity

Annual Fund Raiser Golf Tournament     

Golfity is the Annual Fund Raiser Golf tournament event where several well wishers of the club have been contributing to the event as a Donor, a Participant, a Sponsor or a Well Wisher. Your contributions have helped in a big way in our community project over the years. You contributions in the last years have helped our several projects on education, health and nutritional requirements of over 500 students at the government school at Lingarajpuram, Aid the Rotary School at Channapatna, Vocational Training programs and Microcredit Program in villages in the District of Bidadi amongst several other initiatives. 

Last year you had contributed towards: 

• Construction of a new Medical Outreach Centre in the Village of Nelliguda to make available healthcare to about 20 villages in the neighborhood - Completed a cost of Rs. 20 Lakhs and operationalised in October 2014.
• Aid and Assist provision of essential nutrition to children in the district of Kolar - Set up 1 unit to with women SHG to manufacture nutrient supplements under the women and child development program.  

We have also embarked on a few more ambitious programs this year.  We are raising funds apart from our existing projects for,

• Funding the exapnsion of teh Rotary School at Channapatna
• Support for Paediatric Chemotherapy Construction
• Fund operations of the Medical Outreach Centre in the Village of Nelliguda to make available free healthcare to about 20 villages in the neighborhood.
• VOW - Vocational opportunites for Women to train them for economic independence

 Golfity is a charity golf event intended to raise fund for to support our on-going and new projects. We invite you to participate and help in making this event a great success.Your participation in this event will help change the lives of several people in the community around you. We reach out to you for friendship, fellowship and for having fun while we work for a good cause together.

Mr. Sivasankar Gopinath : Overall well conducted and maybe not a bad idea if you advise the participating golfers the money that was collected for this charity event and which charity it supported. Would definitely participate next year as well if there is one

Ms. Hema Shriram: Very well conducted event . Despite the large number of participants , there was no waiting at tees. The Organizers were very friendly and cheerful and very encouraging . I wish there were more women participating .. Maybe next time there will be T Shirts designed for women !!
